Reflections Program Award Ceremony - An "Art" Inspiring Event!

In an effort to encourage children to pursue artistic expression the National PTA sponsors a yearly Reflections program. As described on the PTA's website, this program is:

Designed to enhance rather than replace a quality arts education, the Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts.

This year's theme was "Together We Can". We were recently invited by Priti Patel to attend and photograph the Award Ceremony for South Bosque Elementary's Reflections Program. The event was held at Waco's own Studio Gallery, located at 4712 West Waco Drive. Owner's Mike & Pat Magid were our wonderful hosts for the evening. They, along with their son Lance Magid were gracious enough to allow these children and their families into their business to display their works right alongside other artists.

As photographers, we, at Puzzle Piece Productions are always interested in supporting the arts. It was such a privilege to see so many young budding artists! Every child was so enthusiastic about their pieces and the meaning behind their work.

We would like to take this time to congratulate each of these children for a job well done! We sincerely hope that our photographs convey the pride each of these children showed in their work.
